Hello My name is Hrishikesh Pratinidhi.

I am an architect by profession, and writing is a comparatively new found hobby. Since I am an architect, I believe, that my subject of writing must be Architecture.

I believe that when an architect designs a house for himself, it is normally a culmination of his own design process, as he is both a client and an architect.

This certainly does not mean that I won’t be writing about the public buildings or about good buildings in general.

Why do this?

• I believe most of today’s architecture is for buying, selling or renting and not for people. An architect is mostly fighting a defeated battle against the conditioned mindsets, and one needs to have an open mind for architecture to flourish.
• This is a terrific tool, to educate the young and curious minds of architectural students and my message to them is to be spontaneous with their designs, and try out new things!

The topic for the blogging will be architecture and nature, and values associated with natural elements.

I would love to connect with the people sharing similar ideas, similar ideology, I will also like to get connected with the young students of Architecture, and would love to discuss their point of view through a dialogue.

I would be achieving recognition, and a sense of satisfaction if the blog is successful throughout next year.

One major reason to start this activity of blogging is to express my deepest concern for spontaneity, as the process of design is a spontaneous one and not a mechanical one !
